Mission Statement
Christ the King BNS is a Catholic National School, established in connection with the Minister for Education and Science, and under the patronage of the Catholic Archbishop of Dublin.
The school aims to promote the full and harmonious development of all aspects of its pupils, whether intellectual, physical, cultural, moral and spiritual, including a living relationship with God and with other people, by providing them with a well ordered, caring, happy and secure school atmosphere.
We endeavor in our school to enhance the self-worth of all members of the school community, whether children, teachers or parents, by encouraging involvement in all aspects of the school, and we try to cultivate in our pupils a sense of respect and responsibility for people and property.
We are an inclusive school with a Catholic ethos, and welcome children with additional needs as well as from other religions, subject to the stipulations of our enrolment policy.
The school models and promotes a philosophy of life inspired by belief in God and in the life and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We provide religious instruction for our pupils in accordance with the doctrines, practices and tradition of the Roman Catholic Church and we promote the formation of the pupils in the Catholic Faith.
