We’ve had a busy and fun filled term two in 2023! As well as working hard on our English and Maths,
We’ve had plenty of visitors and events. We all thoroughly enjoyed the recent céilí, Lá Glás and Tráth na gCeist. In addition we’ve had lessons in athletics with Jeannette from Runner Beans, basketball with Jen from St. Vincent’s and gardening with Graham. Our plants are now showing some green shoots. We had some basketballers from St. Vincent’s speak about the life of a professional athlete. Sarah from Barnardos did an excellent online safety workshop with us.
For the past few weeks, we’ve been fortunate enough to be learning with Ms. O’Brien – a student teacher from St. Pat’s/DCU who’s done some very interesting and fun lessons with us.
We had fun on days such as Pancake Tuesday and World Book Day.
Furthermore, three of our boys have been playing on our school football team. They’re playing two years above their own age level and have done themselves and the school proud with their great performances.
